When Isaac was first describing his sculpture as basically a giant artichoke shards of glass with explosives inside it all I could think was “is he trying to maximize IED casualties with preformed fragmentation?”
I LOVE this ending. It transforms the movie from a flick to a film. It doesn’t go quite far enough to be a deconstruction – Tess surviving, and the pilot leaving the team their shares, leave the tone just hopeful enough.
Also I love Isaac Caesar. Pitr’s performance is a joy.
